My name is Beth Davis and I am married to Rusty Davis. We have three children: Kylie (19), Carson (12), and Brooklyn (10). We have attended Cherry Grove Baptist Church since July 2015. I have had the privilege of being the Children's Ministry Director since April 2016.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in Winterville, North Carolina, and moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 1998 at the age of 14. I graduated from Socastee High School in 2002 and went on to attend Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia. There I received an athletic scholarship for softball and was able to continue playing my passion. I returned home to Myrtle Beach and met my husband in 2004. We married and God had plans for us that I would have never seen coming. In 2008, Rusty was called to the ministry as a Youth Director at Bakers Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. In 2015, the Lord had even bigger plans when He opened doors for Rusty to fill in at Cherry Grove. Eventually moving us in July of 1015 and officially in December of the same year.
The role of the Children's Ministry Director is such a great responsibility in the lives of children. My ministry group begins at nursery and goes all the way to 6th grade. This is an important time in the spiritual walk of the kiddos lives.
